Paul Haggerty Not Killed.
The report that Paul Haggerty, a former worker on our couit house, was killed by a fall, at Boston, was an error. Tom Manley, who was Haggerty’s chum while here, got a fall in Boston, as related, and saved himself by catching a rope, and the man who was with him on the scaffold was killed, but the man was not Haggerty. Manley wrote about the accident to one of his numerous best girls, and simply said that his “partner” was killed. The girl knew that Haggerty was the “partner” while here and formed the natural but erroniouß conclusion that it was he that was killed. Haggerty is still very much alive, and we understand will soon furnish ocular proof of the fact by visiting Rensselaer.
