A Ministerial Association.

By suggestion of Rev. Middleton, several of the ministers of the city met at his home on Monday at 10 a. m„ and organized the “Rensselaer Ministerial Association,” with proper officers and for a worthy object. Rev. C. D. Jeffries was elected president and Rev. F. L. Austin, secretary. It will meet every second and fourth Monday of each month, at 10 o’clock in the] parlor of the Missionary Baptist church, and all those working in whole or in part in the ministry are urged to attend, and anyone is cordially welcome. Rev. Jeffries will prepare a paper for the meeting two weeks hence.
