Death of Uncle John Darroch.

John Darroeh, an old and much respected resident of Newton county, died at his home in Morocco last Thursday, May sth, at the age of nearly 78 years. He became a resident of Newton county in 1851, while it was yet a part of Jasper, and is known to many of our older residents. He was one of the three special commissioners who located the boundary line between the two counties in 1857. He was married three times and the father of 19 children, 14 of whom survive him.
