NORTH BARKLEY. Dicy Zook went to Rensselaer Thursday for lumber for Dredge boat. >v ' *; Mr. Brook of DeMotte, visited Mr. Derero and family over Snnday. Glen Baker and Emory Caster are on the sick list A. L. Bowlus and wife visited at O. Callahans Sunday. Will Ponto and Loss Hewitt of Dredge No. 2 spent Sunday at their homes. George Levero and sisters Elsie and Lucy, Eld Black and Mr. Brook visited at Mr. Callahans Sunday evening. „ Tom Tanner says he is going to fool the threshers this year as he did not sow any oats. He says they nearly ate him out of house and home last year. Ed Black took teachers examination in Rensselaer Saturday. All bridges along the main ditch are being raised so the boats can pass under them without being taken out.
