G. H. Hurley says he’s going to commence planting corn right away. George Barcus of Rensselaer, was in this vicinity Wednesday. Geo. Davison started for Montana the first of the week to work on a dredge. i James Longstreth and wife, and John Schroer and wife returned from Zanesville, Ohio, Saturday, where they were called by the serious sickness of Mrs. Longstreth, who was much improved in health when they returned. Mrs. George Randle is reported sick. Ezra Switzer is much improved after quite a spell of sicknass. Mrs. Henry Call of DeMotte. visited relatives in this vicinity Sunday. Rev, Shreves held services at the Good Hope church Sunday evening. John Lesh and family, of Parr, visited his father Jake Lesh and family Sunday. Christopher Arnold is preparing to build a new house.
