Mr. Gladstone’s Condition.

ljawurden, April 20.—During the day Mr. Gladstone had occasional slight attacks of pain nnd did not sleep very well. Miss Helen Gladstone, replying to n letter of sympathy, writes: “We cannot hope fer his recovery, but the progress of his illness is very slow. He will probably remain with us for some time.”
