Death of George Bullis.
Uncle George Bullis died last Friday morning April 29th, at his home in Jordan Tp., of sciatica, after a sickness of little more than one week. His age was 83 years, 8 months and 20 days. He was born in New York and moved to Michigan when quite young. When about 21 he settled in Grundy Co. 111., and came to this county in 1872. He was twice married. His first wife was Hannah Harrison. Nine children were born to that union, of whom eight are now living. Charles, of Oregon, James and Edward, of Jordan, Amelia Sawyer, of Cherryville, Kans., Caroline Windson and Clara Goodrich, of Chicago, Mary M. Welsh, of Jordan, Nellie Bullis, of Los Angelos, Cal. His second wife who survives him, xvns Amelia Heacox. By her he leaves one son, Warren Bullis. Uncle George was a most honorable and highly respected citizen. The f uneral was held Saturday, at 2 p. m., by Rev. H. M. Middleton. Interment in Welsh cemetery, in Jordan township.
