A Call to Form a Company.

Rensselaer Post 84 G. A. R. In as much as war has begun between the U. S. and Spain I think that the G. A. R. should be first to say, by our notions, that we who fought in the 60ies to maintain our government are ready now to assist the government we defended, by organizing a company or companies and have them drilled and equiped so in case of necessity we could fill the quota that may be required from this county. By taking this step the boys could be together, instead of being scattered one in one corner and some in another; and by so doing could select their own officers and be ready for any emergency on short notice.
