Notice of City Election. To the voters of the city of Rensselaer, Indiana: You are hereby notified an ! election will be held in each of the i several wards of said city hereinafter designated on the third day of May, 1898 between the hours of 6 a. m. and 6 p. m., foi the purpose of electing one Councilman for each ward, towit: Ward No. 1 at the City Hall. The Republican voters of the several precincts of Jasper County, will meet at their respective voting places, except as otherwise designated by the precinct chairman on Saturday May 7, 1898, two o’clock p. m., and select one delegate to each of the following Conventions: Congressional and Representative, both to be held in Rensselaer Indiana, on Wednesday, May, 11,1898.
