Death of J. M. Kean.

Intelligence has been received here of the death, last Wednesday, at Buchannan, Michigan, of Joseph M. Kean, who a number of years ago was a resident of Renseselaer, owning and occupying the house on McCoy Ave., now owned by C. W. Coen. No particulars have been received of his death, but it is known here that death was caused by a stomach trouble, of several years duration. He lived in Chicago before coming here and returned to that city when he left; and his funeral was held there Friday. He had quite a large family of children, most of them of adult age, or nearly so. He was always considered a man of considerable wealth.
