Chalmers P. Fry, who has bsen taking music lessons under R. P. Benjamin, at Rensselaer, was among friends here Sunday. He conducted the Christian Endeavor Sunday evening. Subject “Conquering the fear of death. Rev. J. L. Brady of Rensselaer, preached at the Christian church Sunday afternoon. Jennie Cottingham and sister are at Monticello going to school. Alma and Frank Fry of Rose Lawn, visited the family of T. W. Fry Saturday and Sunday. Mary Arnold is visiting her sister at Goodland. David Yeoman of Rensselaer, was among friends here Sunday. Dora Kennedy of Rensselaer, visited her sister. Mrs. George Davidson, Sunday. Charlie Mallatt and wife are visiting at Chicago. James Cox of Chicago Heights, is visiting his father Bill Cox. Quite a crowd of young people of Mt, Ayr, attended the Easter supper also a crowd from Rose Lawn and Parr. The proceeds of the Easter supper amounted to $30.30 which went to the Christian church. R. Dunn and family of DeMotte, attended the Easter supper. Laura Boyles is home from goWill Burns and Can Manderville are on the sick list.
