NORTH BARKLEY. Mr. Shoup and family moved to Remington. Mr. Willard and wife spent Sunday with A. L. Bowlus and family. Mrs, Langdon Beedy was the guest of her daughter Mrs. Fanson Sunday. Lawrence Caster is assisting A. L. Bowlus sowing this week. Capt. Clous and crew sailed under the headquarter bridge Thursday. They are now working towards Rensselaer. The citizens may not be surprised if they see it sailing into town one of these fine days and if war is declared I guess they will-go straight to Cuba and blow every Spainard off the Island. All they need is guns and amunition to be in first class fighting trim.
