Quebec, Can., April 13. Cardinal Tnscherenu died nt 6:15 o’clock Tuesday night. Cardinal Taschereau wns one of the foremost churchmen of the Catholic hierarchy on this aide of the Atlantic. His full name was Eliz.ear Alexandre Tnscherenu, and he wns born in Salnte Marie de la Beauce, Quebec, in 1826.
