Sunday Schpol Convention.
Marion Tp. Sunday Schools held their Tp. convention Wednesday and Wednesday night. The morning session was devoted mostly to calling of the roll reporting of the different Sunday Schools and committee work. The principle address of the morning session was 1 that of the Vice President B. D. Comer, subject The little things that make up life. At the afternoon session W. C. Smalley county secretary read a very interesting paper the subject was Is the Sunday school keeping up with the times'? He quoted facts and figures and drew his inferences to show very plainly that it was up with the times. Mrs. Eva Foltz the tireless and efficient Tp. President gave notice that on account of poor health she could not with justice to herself serve them any longer. The committee on nominations reported as follows: President Mrs. Alice Faris Secretary... .Miss Ura McGowan Supt. of the Home Department Mrs. Short At the evening session Bro. Middleton led the devotional exercises. Bro. Austin gave an excellent address which was highly appreciated. Several recitations by small children were well rendered. Mrs. Foltz gave some excellent advice to the young children. It was a very good convention. A great many short pointed speeches were made during the day on various subjects. The question box very instructive. Misses Perrin and Hollister and others helped to entertain the convention in the way of songs. In short it was a convention of pleasure and instruction.
