Married Thursday Afternoon.
Dr. S. C. Johnson, of Rensselaer and Miss Ruth Russell, of Carpenter township, were married Thursday, afternoon, April 14th, 1898, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Russell, near Remington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. R. W. Johnson, the groom’s father, of Weston, 111. The newly married couple will return to Rensselaer today, and will set up housekeeping in rooms over Porter & Yeoman’s store, in the rear of the doctor’s office. Ernest Wishard accompanied the doctor from here, as his best man.
