Dr. Briggs Quits the Church.

New York, April 12.—1 tis believed that the last chapter in the famous Dr. Briggs case has now been concluded. At a meeting of the New York Presbytery Monday a letter from Dr. Briggs was read, withdrawing from the Presbyterian church. The resignation was accepted.
