On The Verge of War.

The war with Spain, which we have felt to be inevitable ever since the blowing up of the Maine, two months ago, is now evidently right at hand. The House has already adopted what is virtually a declaration of war, and the Senate will adopt the same resolution, within a day or two, and possibly today. Following that, and almost immediately following it, will be the commencement of hostilities. The prettiest hats, the largest assortment of trimming, and the loirest prices in town, at Mrs. L.
