Victims of a Feud.
Middlesboro, Ky., April 9. —A special to the Herald from Manchester says: A. B. Howard, ex-sheriff of Clay county, and his son Will were waylaid and killed. Howard is very prominent, A terrible feud has been raging between the Philpots, Bakers, Campbells and Howards for the past year. Twenty men have been killed during that time, mostly from ambush. A reign of terror exists in many parts of Clay county.
