Illlinois Miners.

Springfield, 111., April 7.—The miners at Taylorville met Wednesday and decided not to go to work until the ne*w scale is paid. The operators claim there was an agreement with the miners to ■work until May 1, when the new scale goes into effect. The miners at Edinburg have gone out because they have not been paid, they claim. The striking miners at Mount Olive and Staunton have returned to work. At Danville the drivers have struck for higher wages.
