London, April 7. —The British steamer Marengo, ('apt. Bingham, of the Wilson line, which sailed from Newcastle cn March 39 for New York, had on board 14 of tho most modern guns, 76 tons of gun carriages, 93 tons of empty shells and 11 tons of empty cartridges.
