The action to test the constitutionality of the act of (he legislature of 1897, at Columbia City, by which the terms of all township trustees and assessors in the state were extended for a period of two years came up for hearing Tuesday and Judge Adair sustained the demurrer to the complaint therebyholding the law’ to be constitutional.
