The Township Assessors.

The township assessors met Thursday afternoon, in the county assessor’s office, in the new court house. They organized by re-elect-ing W. O. Roadifer, of Carpenter, chairman, and John O’Conner, of Walker, secretary. The schedule adopted as a uniform basis of assessment, is published in another place. It includes all kinds of live stock, grain and other farm products, notes, mortgages &c. and merchandise. Nearly all farm products are considerably higher this year than last and are therefore assessed considerably higher.
