Rev. Tucker Badly Hurt.

About one o’clock p. m. Saturday, Rev. D. A. Tucker’s horse took fright at a stump and ran away, on Vine street, in the northwest part of town Mr. and Mrs. Tucker and Miss Maggie Kenton were in the buggy. They were all thrown out, and it is feared that Mr. Tucker is very badly hurt. He was picked up unconscious and carried into th'e residence of Joseph Yeoman, and Dr. Johnson telephoned for. The doctor found that three ribs were broken and also that he was bruised on the head and on one ankle. The injuries are severe, and as Mr. Tucker has a heart trouble, they may prove very dangerous. Mrs. Tucker was quite badly shaken up, but Miss Kenton was not hurt at all.
