An Interesting

The entertainment given at the opera house last evening, for the benefit of the Rathbotie Sisters, drew a very large audience, and proved an evidently satisfactory affair for the auditor’s. The entertainment is called “Fantasia” and is of a very varied character. Press Woodruff, “The Arkausaw humorist,” with his queer speeches was a leading and vefy entertaining feature. Then thqre were soloes and quartettes and other musical Beleotions by Rensselaer’s most talented musiciate; considerable of a show in the fan-y line, and a most beautiful drill by sixteen young ladies in Greek costumes, whose graceful evolutions under the colored and constantly changing lights, formed as prett-y a spectacle as any one need wish to see. Woo-Hoo the clown was another important feature. He is the artist to the fairy queen, and he gave some marvellous specimens of his drawing and painting, on the stage. He painted the very beautiful special scenery used in this production. The character of Ebenezer Snowflake, a coon tramp, was taken by Mr. Woodruff, and was very amusing.
