Obituary.

Clymene Cookerill was born in Fayette Co., Ohio in the year 1818, died at her home in Newton tp., March sth 1898 after a brief illness. Her maiden name was Bigelow and her girlhood was spent with her parents on a farm in Ohio. In 1887 she was married to William Cockerill and soon afterward they moved to Jasper County. About a score and five years ago her husoaml departed this life since which time she has lived with her two sons on the old farm, singularly apart from the world. She and her husband both united with the Primitive Baptist church many years ago in which faith they both continued steadfast until death. Three children survive her, the eldest a daughter, Mrs. Margaret A. Webster, and two sons, Ernest and David Cockerill. Alter a brief service at the home she was laid to rest in the* Mnkeever cemetery.
