Assessors’ Report Corrected.
The State Board of Tax Commissioners Ims corrected the report of the proceedings of the meeting of the county assessors so that township assessors will not get the impression that any class of goods is to be assessed below actual cash value. The report of the committee on merchandise, which caused some comment, was stricken from the proceedings, and in lieu of it the State board announces that merchandise of every kind must bo assessed at its true cash value. I have private funds to loan on real at low rates for any length of time. Funds are always on hands and there is no delay—no examination of land, no sending papers east —absolutely no red tape. Why do you wait on insurance companies for (i months for your money? I also loan money for short times at current bank rates. Funds always on hand.
