The Times-Herald Century Club

The Chicago Times-Herald will have a staff representative in Rensselaer for the next few days for the purpose of selecting a limited number of citizens to complete the Jasper county division of that paper's famous century club. The opportunity offered by the TimesHerald to those people desirous of procuring the “complete reference library” is a grand one and the terms are such that’s question of finance need stand in the way of no one to tvhom the privileges of the Ileiald's club are .extended. The number of sets allowed the Times-Herald by the century company for Jasper county is but thirty one, the publishers feeling that thirty one sets placed among the right kind of people will servo well for an introduction. We would suggest that if any of our readers wish to obtain the privileges offered by the Times-Herald they send word or call and leave their names at the office of the Rrtublican. The system will be explained to them as soon thereafter as time will permit providing of course they are eligible under the guarantee made to the Century company by The Times-Herald. Mr. Warren Dean, the TimesHerald’s special representative has established headquarters at this office and any further information required will be cheerfully given by him.
