DEMOTTE, Mrs. Asa Tyler is en the sick list. Rena Cooper is reported quite sick. E. E. Pierson of Parr was seen on our streets last week. Ord Hanley and Harry Brown of Kniman took the examination here Friday. Luther Frame has returned home from. Attica. / \e. G. Warren and J. F. Bruner once residents of this place, but now of Rensselaer were in town last week. M. M. Tyler has been putting in his time riding around with soifie Illinois men looking after real estate. There was a conundrum supper given for the benefit of the minister, last Friday night. The Nicholas family are giving a three nights show’ at Troxell’s hall. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Hammond visited our town a few days last week. Mr. Hammond had charge of the examination held here Friday. J. M. Spriggs has given up going to Dakota and invested his money in a fine new top buggy. We think it a w’ise idea.
