School House News.

Mr. Austin the minister of the Church of God, spoke to the High School Wednesday morning. The subject of his talk was ‘‘Pleasure,” We all have certain desires that we are constantly trying to satisfy. These desires vary in different people with the different times in life and with different' circumstances. Fifty years ago it was the pleasure of the Fiji Islanders to be cannibals. Now g their desires are different, made so by right teaching. So learning to understand ourselves and our surroundings makes us see what desires are best and, if we are wise, we will give up tem■'porary pleasure in order to gain those that are better in the end. Friday afternoon, from 3 to 4 o’clock a musical program will be given by some of the pupils of the High School. Any visitors who may wish to come will bo welcome.
