A Sufficient Notice.
Near Christina Lake, in Washington, a rough road leads from the main highway toward the lake, where there is a ferry operated by hand power. At the point of departure of this road the following sign, posted on a tree, informs passers of all they have to do to make the trip across the lake by tiute route: “Wagon road to Cristina if you want to go acrose hollow’ or yeall also a grocery store and hotel.”
