Indiana’s Model Town.

Greentown, near Kokomo, a manufacturing city of 2,500 population, that is noted for its morality, is now without a legal government. The town marshal resigned several months ago on account of having nothing to do, since which time the place has been without a police officer. The town was never incorporated as a city and has no mayororothercorporate head. The place was founded fifty years ago and has been governed by five trustees, a clerk, treasurer and marshal completing the official roster. Several trustees have moved away and leaves the others, without a quorum until April elections. The citizens are in no wise alarmed over the situation and are inclined to believe they could get along without any government. For a moral, lawabiding place Greentown has perhaps no equal in Indiana.
