School Notes.

Wednesday morning Mr. Coover talked to tho High School on the duties of the clerk of the court. The office of the clerk comes in the judicial department. It is a four year office aud one person can serve only two terms in succession. The applicant to the office must be a voter and must have been a resident of the county one year prior to election. The principal duties of tho clerk aro in connection with sessions of the court. He records all the proceedings of the court. Mr. Coover traced a case in civil law through the different steps, showing in this connection the duty of the clerk.
