Mrs. Carrie Maddox is quite sick with malarial fever. Wm. Nichols left last Monday for Rensselaer, where he intends working at the carpenter trade with Lee Jessup, Walter Snider of Mountain City, N. C. has been visiting relatives in Gillam for a few days. C. H. GuilaL arid wife of Medaryville spent Saturday and Sunday with Mjghael Robinsons’. Mrs. Thomas Stoner is quite sick with fever. The cottage prayer meeting at Mr. Polstons Sunday evening was well attended and all enjoyed a splendid meeting. Mr. Jesse Wilcox, Misses Flora Wilcox and Rilla Osborne were Kniman visitors Saturday and Sunday. Work has begun again on the new church at West Vernon and we hope it will soon be completed.
