More Big Land Deals.
There is quite an old time activity in Jasper county real-estate now and occasionally a pretty large deal is consummated. The largest of these recent sales, in point of money consideration stated, was the sale of the former Wm A. Rinehart place, west of Francesville. This tract 1,000 acres in extent was sold by James B. Foley to Hibbard O. Davis, for $40,000. Mr - Foley receives, in whole or part payment, a rice plantation in Mississippi. Another large sale is that Albert Gilmore who sell to his brother Ephriam Gilmore, half of the Hickory Island Marsh, in Hanging Grove and Milroy Tp., and in White county. The tract is 2,800 acres id extent. The consideration stated for the half interest is $lO, 000, though that sum is a above incumbrances rather than the actual price for tho land.
