TEN DEAD AT KALAMAZOO.
Eire and Explosion in n Drug House Make u Great Disaster. At Kalamazoo, Mich., tire and an explosion in the linll Bros.’ pharmaceutical works Saturday night caused the death of ten then. A score are more or less injured, seine with legs, hands or faces mangled or blown off, and others with their bncks broken or maimed in some other way. The building, a four-story structure, was occupied jointly by Ilall Bros, and the Kalamazoo I’aper-Box Company, tho lutter concern having the two upper floors. The total loss is aisnit 30,000, about $25,000 being sustained by Hall Bros. The explosion is supposed to have been caused by the Ignition of nitrous ether, but tho origin of the lire ennnot be accounted for. The explosion sliook the whole city, and the dead and injured were thrown from twenty to fifty feet.
