Heavy Death Rate From Disease.

The quarterly bulletin of the state board of health, issued Monday shows that out of 877 cases of diphtheria in the last three months 259, or more than 25 per cent., were fatal, and out of 586 cases of typhoid fever 302 cases, or more than 50 per cent., were fatal.
