GILLAM.
The little child of Frank Reed is reported quite sick. Simon Rowen entertained about forty young people Monday evening, it being the last evening they were going to live in Gillam, and tho next day they moved on a farm eaSt of Medaryville. The young folks enjoyed themselves greatly, and we are sorry to lose Mr. Kowens’ from our midst. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. J. Daughetee last week a healthy boy. Sunday Feb. 27th, to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stinger, a son. John Ryan shipped a car load of hogs Monday. Mr. Trikle moved on a farm near Dunnville last week and Mr. Cody of the Gifford marsh, moved into the house vacated by Mr. Trikle. L. Tillotson and family left last Monday for their old home near Potomac 111. For the last two years Mr. Tillotson has been living on the Vennum farm. Mrs. J. T. Faris has been suffering from a slight attack of la grippe.
