The Electrician Was Here.
Frank Gilmore, of Chicago, electrician for the proposed electric railroad, arrived in Rensselaer at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning. lie .was accompanied from Francesvillo here by J. F. Warren and Granville Moody, cominittemon appointed for the purpose. They came by the Barkley Twp. route, striking Rensselaer from the north. Some hours were spent in Rensselaer and at 3 o’clock lie left for Remington, accompanied by Levi Hawkins and W. C. Smalley, who came from there to meet him. So far as ho has seen this route In* seems very favorably impressed. They went to Remington by the road a half mile west of the gravel road. The question of the route through town is still an open one, although Mr. Gilmore examined soveral proposed ones and made important suggestions.
