Comps Cause a Duel.

Alba Heywood, the comedian and impersonator, who is well known in this section, became involved in a shooting scrape in Texas and was -dangerously wounded. Heywood was playing at the opera house at Longview, Texas, and the difficulty aroso over free tickets the manager had given his friends. Heywood shot PegUes, the manager of the opera house four times. According to the dispatch Pegues says that he the four wounds before he shot at Heywood He emptied Jus pistol after following Heywood in the street, one shot passing through Heywood’s right lung. Pegues walked several yards before assistance came. It was found that his clothes were on fire. Heywood walked two blocks before he fell and then talked in a jesting manner to those who supported him.
