A Large Shipment of Furs.

B. S. Fendig, the poultry, fur and junk dealer, made quite a large shiprnentof furs Saturday, the result of throe weeks' purchases. The shipmont included the skins of 500 muskrats, skunks, 20 coons, and one fox. These skins come largely from the Kankakee region, as Mr. Fendig buys there, and as far ns Lowell. The prices ho paid for the skins run about as follows: Rats, 15 cents; minks, $1 to $1.40; skunks, 50 cts to $1.00; coons, IK) to SI.OO. A good fox skin is worth about $1 to $1.50. Mr. Fendig also makes quite a specialty of saving and shipping feathers, and his drypicked chicken feathers are sold

to a party who ships them all to Paris. The saving and selling of turkey quills and rooster tall feathers is also quite a feature of his business.
