The committee of the city council, appointed some time ago to examine the new waterworks building to see if it was nil right, have done their work. They employed J. F. Osborne, an experienced and competent builder, and after careful examination he decided that the building had been erected in accordance with' the plans and specifications. » Certain flaws that hi\(fl developed in the slate roof had been remedied by the sub-contractors before the examination was made.
