Chas. Harrington is going to move to Virgie in the near future. William Iliff of Rensselaer, was in town last Wednesday. Chas. Dean, of Rensselaer, was seen on our streets last week, he wears a smile for everybody. A 1 Clark of Wheatfield, was in town Sunday. Nelson Fairchild is seen walking around with crutches, as a result of cutting off a toe. Andrew Granger of Thayer, enjoyed a coon hunt one night last week with his cousin Edward Granger of thir place. The latter part of last week being so very cold Frank Tyler was the only man that ventured out to press hay. Hurrah for Frank! Henry Frame is going down to Brook for his health this summer, it seems his health don’t agree with this town. Everybody seems excited over the war. . * “*• J, M. Spriggs was called down to Hog Point last Saturday and did not return until Sunday eee. The K. P’s. met as usual Friday night. Fay Granger and family have moved out on a farm near Thayer. Samuel McGinnis intends completing the Keener Tp. gravel roads as soon as it thaws out. L. H. Frame and Jake Hanaway have gone to Attica to locate the gravel. Rev. James preached Sunday night to a large congregation and closed a series of meetings witlrthree additions to the church.
