MeColly died Sunday night after two weeks sickness. The funeral was held Monday,^ interment in Fair Oaks oemotery. John Lamburn, Perry Carson, J£stil Pierson and Chas. Dean were all io town the latter part of last

week looking after their political fences. The interlocking switch meq were given a supper by the Ladies Aid Society at the home of Mrs. Frey. A. V. Wills and son will start their dredge immediately; they have been ready for some time. They will drain Mud lake and several other marshes and completely do away with duck shooting this season. However we can give up our duck ponds to have them replaced by corn fields and fine meadows.
