Weather very changable and roads awful muddy. Watt Prevo and wife of Medaryville, are the guests of W. T. Posey. Frank Bruner has returned from Rensselaer to attend school here at this place. Teachers institute wus held at the school house last Saturday. L. 11. Hamilton was present. There is a protracted meeting at the M. K. church conducted by Rev, James of Chioago. Several of our K, P.’s went to Hammond last week to utternl a K. P. meeting. G. B. Antrim moved out of town last Saturday. George is going to try farming. Jesse Summers and wife now occupy the E, M. Spriggs house. Born, to Eton Niools and wife last Tuesday, a son. J. M. Spriggs took in some of the sights of Obmago last week. W. H. & W. 0. Tyler are talking of putting in a general store; we need another store.

i Mark Granger and John Punter are going down by Fowler to buy a team of horses, perhaps the boys will I be partners this summer. | J. P, Hammond was seen on our streets last Friday. Wm. Burns and wife moved in | town last Wednesday.
