Wolf Hunt a Failure

; The wolf hunt in Jordan Tp., last Wednesday resulted in failure in spite of every effort to make it a success. Quite a large number .attended, reported at 150, and a large tract of country was surrounded; but when -the hunters met at the appointed converging point, nary a wolf was rounded up, nor jhad a single one been caught sight of. There are so many large tracts of land out there grown up with thick grass and weeds and other tracts thick with underbrush, that every facility is afforded the wolves for keeping out of sight. It is not likely that any further attempt will be made to hunt the Jordan wolves by the round-up method.
