McCOrSBURG. Meetings still continue with increasing interest. A. C. Robinson was in town the 16th. - Phillip Blue spent a part of last Monday here. Jesse E. Francis was the guest of Robert Hopkins Tuesday night. The last Institute of the present school year was held last Saturday. Due to the bad roads some were late, but it was a profitable institute, all present expressed a regret at parting and it was said to be the best institute of the season. There is a little more than a month of school, yet. The McCoysburg hotel is now nicknamed “Bachelor’s Hall.” Mrs. Eldridge, the much appreciated landlady, hasabsconded and left it to the “Boys.” • The general health is quite good. Farmers are preparing to begin spring work. Mrs, Will Eklridge’s sister is visiting her for a few days.
