GILLAM.
Mr. Millord Querry, of Tipton, has been visiting his Unole A. W. Prevo and family the past week. Jerry Anderson made a business trip to Illinois last week. Mr. Alston Nichols was at Dunville Monday on business. Mr. C. J. Mansfield disposed of his personal property at a public sale Thursday, Feb. 10th. Mr. J. J. Hunt was in this vioinity part of last week. Mr. Chas. Massy preached at Gillam school house last Sunday, There will be an exhibition and lap supper at the Buck Horn school house next Saturday evening. Some of the young folks of Gillam are going to assist in the entertainment. The teachers’ joint Institute last Saturday was a success, all the teachers from both townships were present also the trustees, J. R. Guild, of Medaryville and A. W. Prevo of Gillam, and County Supt. Mr. Reddick, Mr. Reed, Supt. of the school of Winamac, and Co. Supt. Hamilton of Rensselaer were present. An excellent dinner, provided by the teachers of Gillam, was served at Mr. J. H. Guilds.
