The Pops to Celebrate,

The populists of the state will celebrate Washington’s birthday anniversary by holding their state convention in Indianapolis. The call announces that a state ticket will be put in the fielj|, but many influential men in the party will .urge that no nominations be made and that the party agree to support the nominees of the silver democrats. The party recently held its county meetings throughout the state and the middle-of-the-road wing, the wing that is in favor of making a ticket, declares that it won in more than half the counties.
