A Large Land Deal

Land sales of thirty or forty thousand' dollars magnitude are not so common in Jasper county as they were during the excessive boom of a few years ago. Therefore a large sale put on the records a few days ago is rare enough to be worthy of notice. The land is the former I. D. Dunn farm, in Kankakee township. The tract sold is about 700 acres in extent, and the price as recorded is $30,750. The seller is John P. Maginniss of Ohio, and the buyer Fred Cutler, of Chicago. It is also thought that the somewhat noted Warren Springer has some connection with the deal.
