Hydrants All Right, After All

After it had seemingly been settled that the hydrants and not the hose connections were irregular, and the cause of the misfit, a hose connection was brought Horn Lafayette and was found to fit our hydrant nipples, exactly. It has therefore been decided that the hose connections must be changed, and the hose has all be sent back to Chicago. The parties of whom it w T as purchased have agreed to make the change, and the new hose is looked for, in a few days. It is understood that it will cost the city nothing.
